Yay, the compose screen! It only took nine hours for it to come up, rather than 16 since the blackout before.
   Here’s something else I wanted to share, before I realized that these screens only come up for a few minutes before they die again.
   About 10 years ago, I had a student called Rochelle Stewart, who was a very digilent worker. I hope she has done well. Every time I see City Life journalist Rachelle Stewart’s byline, I keep muddling them up.
   I have never met this R. Stewart, but she might be the hardest working woman in the community newspapers in this city. You see her byline a lot in her newspaper, and I would say if she ever quit, City Life would disappear.
   If you have the output of Rachelle Stewart, it is only natural that one would make the odd mistake. I know I would. And I should note that the ones she made below are acceptable when copy comes in at any publication—we have received far worse here.
   And with City Life’s foreign owners, who are much larger, there must be staff there who could catch them, because that is what they are there for.
   But no. I don’t think, in fact, any of these should have made it to print.
   Remember, these are the folks that had a ‘Melborne Cup’ (sic) special in 2008, where you could join the ‘Winners Cirlce’ (sic). And I really wanted to read this ‘Did you know?’ feel-good piece by Ms Stewart in the November 11 edition, but I kept getting distracted. I had to get out the pen:

   I have not marked some things that would be considered errors at JY&A Media but might be right based on City Life’s house style.
   I might be wrong, but I heard their subs are in Australia, so there is little wonder they do not know the correct spellings of our suburbs and streets. I can barely spell some of the Australian place names, though I can do Woomera and any place a car was named after.
   Of course, this probably means this paper won’t be endorsing my mayoral run because I am a smart-arse.

The folks at the Wisconsin Tourism Federation, a 30-year-old tourism lobbying coalition based in Sun Prairie, couldn't possibly have predicted how the Internet would change the lingo.

While its abbreviation, WTF, was fairly innocuous a few decades ago, it means something entirely different these days.

That meaning - a phrase that can't be printed in a family newspaper, even though kids all over the country are texting it on a regular basis - isn't what anyone in tourism wants potential visitors to associate with Wisconsin.

So the name has been changed to protect our innocence. It's now the Tourism Federation of Wisconsin - an easy acronym switch that avoids any uncomfortable, ambiguous meanings. However, the URL www.witourismfederation.org, remains the same.

"We didn't want it to detract from our mission," said Julia Hertel, spokeswoman for TFW. The name change was voted on in July, but Hertel said the organization didn't make the switch on its Web site until recently.

"We thought we would go with the times," she said.

A blog called Your Logo Makes Me Barf pointed out the crude translation of the acronym in July, and the Journal Sentinel noted it in the Hubbub blog the same day, and again on Sept. 25.

If you think these kinds of branding issues are trivial, think again. On Tuesday, the change was news overseas.

Over presenting the works of art of porcelain-painting, it introduces also my Mother's and my Sister's oil paintings, some biographical informations about my Mother's artstic career and important words about Feelings and Thoughts regarding some of the works of art of the Familiar Collection. ... and of course through the synopis of my novel "Behind the Silence... My mother and my sister are porcelain-painter artists and have made many sacrifices so that could be born that singular world that I am presenting on this blog-site to you. For these ”sacrifices” and struggles for the survival that are behind this World of Beauty, I’ve written the novel by the title ”Behind the Silence”, which has been published in this year by a small Italian publishing house.

About three years ago I promised my mother that a day I would take a pen, and write down the situations, that so many times has crossed our life - and also in themselves could be material of a sketch or a short story - and which are derived from my mother's and my sister's rare profession and from the strange social and "art-political" atmosphere, by which is characterized this little country. At that time I didn’t thought that this "moment" would come so early, and could become pressing for our life.

I can present on this site only a little part of the work of a whole life, and so the Familiar Collection made up in the long years, which contains more than 700 works of art. Among these works of art that has been being internationally signed on the world for more than 10 years, there are many irreplaceable items, presented at that time also in the National Museum of the Applied Arts of Budapest.

The novel I have written (Behind the Silence… Confessions of a porcelain-painter artist, - June 2008 Bastogi) elaborating real events, is based on documents and correspondences, and touching some personalities of huge influence, presents, through my Mother’s life, the defenceless situation of the contemporary artists of our days for the economic policy, and how do the fights of interests, arising from this, ruin the life of some wonderful artists and persons.

For the last years’ happenings neither for moral points of view nor for other reasons there was no other choice for my family but to disclose to the World all that things that my family had to live through this singular and rare field of art in the peculiar social and ”art-political” atmosphere that characterize Hungary. …and so to describe all those things that are hidden Behind the Silence.

Behind the Silence... Confessions of a porcelain-painter artist

My novel, which I have written on the basis of documents, correspondences and my mother’s memories, stands on a lived life’s real events.

It’s about my mother, about a beautiful, but by today broken person’s feelings, of a peculiar lot, and about the events hiding behind them. In the mirror of these, I show how the Politics – demanding part also from the values of Art – make impossible and sentence to death a family in the country of a tragically incompatible nation with its own sons. Through the peculiarities of the Hungarian society’s different strata, I present the contemporary art’s position in our time; the condition of the contemporary artists, who are at the mercy of the ”Fews’ interests”; and the invisible court of law, that shutters some wonderful artists’ life, annihilating them in their human quality. Within the contemporary art, I introduce my readers into that rare branche of Art, on which nearly three-hundred years ago emperors and bishops spent enormous wealths, and which even now is famous for its prestige all over the world: in the unbelievably colourful World of the Porcelains, full of intrigues, which is honoured by the name „White gold”;.

My novel, as I’ve written, is about my mother, about a delicate woman’s tempestuous course of life full of vicissitudes, whom God has given a present to, with some very exceptional endowements, and filled her heart with many love, belief and spiritual force, so that she could struggle against the dams ruining with slow death of a soured society by its own poison. Her singular sensitivity and the special field of art where her unusual skill has carried her, made her know and see many human faces, which meetings has brought in her life many pleasure, but also many suffering.

In one of the highland villages of a strange and formerly leggendary nation, settled in the Center of Europe not much more than one-thousand years ago, is born in the january of 1956, in the year of the revolution ended in massacre, that young girl, who is forced by her environment to escape already when she is a child, at hardly thirteen years old, so that she could ”arrive” as far as possible from the reality which has conducted her family to tragedy that cost her mother’s life. For her mother’s desire expressed in her ultimate letter, she is raised further on, in a small town at her uncle, where she has to face many cruelty alone. Notwithstanding, this town brings her also those meetings of her life, which give her a spiritual force which seems invincible, and a belief which doesn’t know impossible, for her further struggles. Two loves, lived for a life, carry her on in a two-faced world’s maze: the Porcelain-pinting, whose art she acquire in this place, and a strangely ”double-souled” Man, with whom she forms the most holy bond, and founds a family. Her first daughter, Hajnalka is born here, just like her desire, becoming into decision in her soul, to breake with her past again and definitively.

She moves into the beautifully situated Szeged, in the Great Hungarian Plain’s loveliest town, famous for its cultural life and for the high standard of the musical education, so that she could give to her children everithing that she missed in her youth. Andrea, her second child is born here, and she is seduced by an other very nice profession, by the fashion, which she start in with the same enthusiasm and pleasure, with which at that time she did the painting of pictures and porcelains. After the alternation of relatively balanced and tempestuous periods, after successes and enormous failure at the end, finally she returns to the Porcelain-painting, to that her dream which has been always living in her. The financial conditions to found an independent porcelain-painter studio are given to her only by this time.

Into the secrets of this splendid craft, which preservs tradition, but still includes in itself renewal, she introduces her first-born child, Hajnalka, and in few years is born a promising, fabulous and rich world by their hands. Spellbound by the Secessionist style, she works out colours which, with their profundity and peculiar light-refraction, are entirely unique on the world, and in the years, she discovers the producition-method of the world-famed glaze named Eozin, which has been being kept as secret since one hundred years, and to which she gives the name of Moonlight (Holdfény) because of its mysterious glittering of metallic lustre, shining in the most beatiful tints of the green colour, and for her respect for Vilmos Zsolnay.

She has high hopes for the porcelain-painting: she feels from the ”beginning” that it means for her the ultimate possibility of put in order her daughters’ and her own life. And she doesn’t think that, with the beautiul craft, she is happened in a ”viper’s nest” climbing until the highest social strata, which is invisible, far and maybe incredible for many people, but for her is inevitable, mortal and mortally real. Her Mother-country, this country unable to restore itself to health maybe for ever, whose history was full of vicissitudes, cause her more and more disappointment. In other form: slipped into more decorated garment, concealed behind new faces’ new masks, but she meets the same forces which has exiled her from the little highland village.

Under the burden of an incurable disease, forming in her meanwhile, and because of the glacial air of the shutting doors’ wind, her great belief and spiritual force leave her more and more.

The last year’s struggles mean for her, life or death in the real meaning of the word.

Critiques Musique du Dude : Scarlett Johansson Pete Yorn "Break Up"-Muse "Resistance" - Norah Jones

Ce deuxième album de l'élégante Scarlett Johanssonest en fait son premier, il fût enregistré en 2006 en compagnie de Pete Yorn avant le très chouette "Anywhere I Lay My Head ". "Break Up" sonne très sixties c'est une évidence, il oscille entre country-folk et pop. Neuf titres le compose pour une durée de 30mn. La voix de Scarlett quoique moins assurée que sur le précédent Lp est somme toute agréable. C'est très primesautié, cela parle d'amour bien sûr, de peine de coeur (ça me va très bien en ce moment :)) Le premier single "relator" est une petite chanson qui se veut sans prétention, mais qui possède un charme évident dès la première écoute. Le clip en noir et blanc est une réussite, Scarlett s'y montrant telle une icône sixties, terriblement glamour et sensuelle. La suite, on ne va pas se le cacher est un peu plus commune, c'est mignon sans plus, certes on ne l'écoute pas sans déplaisir, mais avouons le, on s'y ennuie un peu. Aucun titres hormis le premier extrait ne ressortent vraiment du lot. Je pense que c'est un disque à écouter le soir, au calme, on allume quelques bougies, on s'allonge, et l'on se plonge peu à peu dans le sommeil, bercé par la voix de Scarlett Johansson nous sussurant à l'oreille des mots doux. C'est tout de même beau de pouvoir rêver :))

L'un des événements de ce mois de septembre, c'est sans aucun doute la sortie du cinquième Lp de Mattew Bellamy

MUSE - United States of Eurasia

Muse

, le leader de Muse. Ce groupe est devenu en quelques années, l'un des plus gros vendeurs de disques au monde, adepte de tournées phénoménales dans les quatres coins du globe. Le moins que l'on puisse dire c'est que ce groupe ne laisse pas indifférent, ni la critique, ni le grand public. Détesté par les Inrocks notamment, adulé par d'autres, le groupe poursuit malgré tout sa marche pour l'instant triomphale. Le Bercy du mois de Novembre est d'hors et déjà complet. Le moins que l'on puisse dire à l'écoute de ce disque intitulé modestement "Résistance", c'est que Muse, tout en poursuivant dans sa veine, n'a néanmoins pas choisi la facilité. Nous sommes ici en pleins dans ce que l'on peut appeller l'opéra rock avec une musique au croisement d'influences sonnant très eighties, on pense notamment à Queen ("Resistance" et "United States of Eurasia" ) et Depeche Mode ("Uprising"). Certainement plus difficile d'approche que ses prédecesseurs, il faudra plusieurs écoutes pour se faire une idée plus juste de ce "concept album". Ce qui est certains c'est qu'avec "Résistance", Muse va donner du grain à moudre à ses détracteurs et peut-être même diviser son public. J'ai l'impression en l'écoutant qu'il est avant tout taillé pour la scène. 54mn et 11 titres (8 en réalité puisque "Exogénésis" est divisé en trois parties) plus tard, je peux dire que l'on est tour à tour irrité et séduit par ce disque (quelle sublime idée que d'utiliser Chopin pour clore "United States of Eurasia"). Irrité par l'aspect pompeux et grandiloquent de titres comme "Guiding Light" ou encore l'inaudible "Uprising" (certainement le plus mauvais choix de single de Muse), par l'aspect lassant de la voix du chanteur (qui se dope à l'hélium c'est sûr...). Prétentieux Muse ? ce n'est pas ce disque qui fera changer d'avis les détracteurs. Séduit aussi reconnaissons le, par cette volonté de poursuivre ce choix esthétique discutable, quitte à sombrer corps et âmes dans le kitsch. Muse n'aurait-il pas un train de retard en voulant à tout prix faire renaître de ses cendre l'opéra rock, ou des sources d'inspiration aussi discutable que Queen ou Depeche Mode, n'est ce pas stérile au fond ? Ici point de singles imparables comme sur le précédent Lp, et au final, on peut se demander si ce projet n'était tout simplement pas trop ambitieux pour Bellamy et sa bande, ne s'auto caricaturent t'ils pas ? Un disque charnière dans la carrière de Muse, certains suivront le groupe, d'autres déserteront leurs rangs. Terminons malgré tout cette note sur quelque chose de positif, je trouve ce morceau "Exogenesis", près de 13mn divisé en trois parties, sacrément gonflé et ambitieux. Vous l'aurez compris je suis partagé sur ce disque. Je vous laisse le soin de vous forger votre propre idée en l'écoutant à votre tour.

-La sublime Norah Jones nous gratifiera d'un quatrième album "The Fall" qui sortira le 17 Novembre, toujours chez Blue Notes Records, produit par Jacquire King (Tom Waits, Kings of Leon) et composé par Ryan Adams, Will Sheff (Shearwater) et Jesse Harris.Il se composera de 13 titres. Elle s'est entourée également de nouveaux musiciens : les batteurs Joey Waronker (Beck, R.E.M.) et James Gadson (Bill Withers), le clavier James Poyser (Erykah Badu, Al Green), les guitaristes Marc Ribot (Tom Waits, Elvis Costello) et Smokey Hormel (Johnny Cash, Joe Strummer). On peut aussi souligner qu'elle a changé de look, moi je l'aime de toute façon :)

Le Journal d'un homme de trop

Ivan Sergueï Tourgueniev

Tourgueniev (1818-1883) est l'auteur en 1850 de cette nouvelle qui s'intitule "Le journal d'un homme de trop" parue dans la revue "Les Annales de la patrie". Elle fût pendant près de dix ans censurée et l'écrivain voué à l'exil en France. Tourgueniev fait partie de ces auteurs russes du XIXème siècle que j'admire plus que tout, au côté des Gogol, Dostoïevski, Tolstoï et autres Pouchkine. L'histoire est celle d'un jeune homme russe, il a trente ans et il se sait condamné parce que malade. Il va alors consacrer les derniers jours de son existence à écrire le journal des événements qui ont marqué sa vie, "Je vais me raconter ma propre vie." Il y dresse un portait sans concession d'une société russe en province sclérosée et insipide, où le mensonge est une règle et le mépris des gens "biens-nés" pour les autres catégories de la population un mode de vie avec lequel il convient de ne pas transiger. Notre narrateur se dévoile ainsi peu à peu, son amour pour une jeune femme au doux nom d'Elisabeth, un amour qui ne se peut... parce que notre homme le reconnaît il ne peut rien contre ce destin qui l'a voué à une lutte sans espoir contre ses faiblesses, ses propres démons, il est cet "homme de trop" à qui tous se refusent, ce paria magnifique, assez proche finalement du narrateur des "Nuits blanches" de Dostoïevski. Il est parfaitement lucide sur sa condition d'homme et c'est ce qui semble, bien avant la maladie, le condamner, la maladie n'étant que l'agent de celle qui ne se refuse à personne. "Je n'ai pas fui le bonheur, j'ai même essayé de l'atteindre en prenant à droite et à gauche." La description de l'état vécu lorsque l'on est pris par les turpitudes de la passion est fine et d'une férocité rare. Parce que cet homme de trop ne se voyait exister que dans le regard de l'être aimé, mais il ne peut rien contre son destin, fataliste il écrit "Je cesse d'être de trop en rentrant dans le néant." Une lecture que je vous conseille vivement, un ouvrage très court mais riche tant dans la forme que sur le fond, tour à tour émouvant et drôle par son cynisme assumé, c'est à mon sens un véritable bijou de la littérature russe du XIXème siècle.

Bartleby : Une histoire de Wall Street

t Bartleby." C'est par ces mots que Melville (1819-1891), auteur Américain célèbre aussi pour avoir écrit "Moby Dick", décrit cet homme fondamentalement énigmatique qu'est Bartleby. Là encore nous sommes en face d'une nouvelle d'une puissance d'évocation sans pareil, impossible de ne pas être tour à tour surpris, agacé, pris de pitié pour ce Bartleby qui est devenu à toute forme d'opposition, de résitance ce qu'est Oblomov pour l'apathie... "Je préférerais pas" c'est par ces mots que Bartleby marque son refus de céder aux règles édictées par la société, ces mots revenant sans cesse dans la bouche de Bartleby. Il incarne cette résistance passive qui désarçonne totalement notre pauvre narrateur. Tour à tour drôle mais aussi profondément cruel, ce texte soulève derrière son apparente simplicité une montagne de questions parce que c'est "son âme qui souffrait". Bartleby nous convie ainsi à un questionnement métaphysique, métapsychologiqe sur ce qu'est le fait d'être... Bartleby dérange, il nous fais peur par son inflexibilité, il ne semble déjà plus de ce monde et pourtant il en fait partie puisqu'il amène l'autre à se situer par rapport à lui. Ce n'est pas Bartleby qui se plie aux règles, par ces simples mots, ceux sont les fondements mêmes de nos sociétés modernes qui sont critiqués. Sa passivité est rébellion. Bartleby est une formidable célébration de la puissance du Verbe. Un classique à lire et à relire. Il possède une noirceur évidente derrière son apparente absurdité. J'aime tout particulièrement cette citation :"Ah ! le bonheur courtise la lumière, aussi croyons nous que le monde est joyeux, mais le malheur, lui, se cache et nous croyons qu'il n'existe pas."

Les Carnets du sous-sol

Fedor Mikhaïlovitch Dostoïevski

Quelques mots enfin, pour vous parler d'un roman de Dostoïevski (1821-1881) un peu moins connu que ses grands classiques que sont "l'Idiot", "les frères Karamazov" et qui s'intitule donc "Les carnets du sous-sol". C'est là aussi un de mes livres de chevet, d'une beauté à couper le souffle tant l'on est emporté par son style. Si Dostoïevski est un génie absolu de la littérature c'est parce qu'il a su comme personne parler de nos travers, de nos forces mais aussi de nos faiblesses, de ce vide qui parfois nous saisis d'effroi. Le narrateur vit à Saint Pétersbourg où il n'est qu'un petit fonctionnaire comme tant d'autres. C'est dans ses carnets qu'il peut laisser jaillir toute la rancœur qui s'est accumulée contre ce monde qui lui paraît insupportable. Ce roman est considéré par certains intellectuels comme étant l'un des tous premiers textes existentialistes. Un livre absolument fascinant peuplé d'une galerie de personnages qui ne semblent pas si éloignés de nos revendications d'homme "moderne" perdu entre ce besoin d'amour, de l'autre et en même tant cette incapacité profonde à se sentir bien ensemble, ou comment la solitude et l'amélioration des moyens de communication moderne semble curieusement allez de paire, contradiction de nos sociétés modernes.

Ceci m'amène à vous présenter de façon très succincte deux ouvrages d e réflexion sous la direction de Marie de Solemne (Philosophe) qui convie dans "Aimer désespérément" et "La grâce de solitude" des philosophes, des écrivains, des théologiens, des hommes de sciences, etc.. à nous donner leur façon de percevoir deux des sentiments les plus partagés dans le monde moderne, la solitude et l'amour. Ce sont des ouvrages courts mais très denses sur le fond et qui permettent à ceux qui le souhaiteraient de pousser un peu plus loin nos sentiments sur ces thèmes. Les questions soulevées sont pertinentes et chacun(e) est ensuite libre de se rapprocher plus ou moins des pistes de réflexion offertes par ces intellectuels qui pour

une fois mérite pleinement ce nom (on est loin ici des philosophes peoples et autres donneurs de leçon). L'aspect pluridisciplinaire est particulièrement enrichissant, psychologie, philosophie et théologie se mêlent habilement et l'on prend un grand plaisir à lire cette collection Espaces libres chez Albin Michel.
Tous ces ouvrages sont non seulement passionnants, riches de sens mais ils sont en plus disponibles pour des sommes modiques mettant ainsi la culture à portée de toutes et tous, chose qui me tient particulièrement à coeur.

Critiques DVD et Musique du Dude :

Ce mois-ci je tenais à vous parler de la sortie en DVD du live d'Étienne Daho à la salle Pleyel à Paris, enregistré en

Daho Pleyel Paris

2008 lors de la tournée qui a suivi la sortie du très réussi "L'invitation". Sobrement intitulé "Daho Pleyel Paris", ce DVD nous permet de retrouver un Daho très inspiré, on peut parler d'un best of live tant la set list est impressionnante et comblera les amateurs de cet artiste qui depuis plus de vingt ans est l'un des rares à pouvoir conjuguer richesse des mots, la beauté des mélodies et ces sonorités pop très anglo saxonne que l'on aime tant (un peu comme un Biolay). 33 titres couvrant l'ensemble de sa riche carrière, les classiques et puis les titres de son dernier LP dont les sublimes "L'adorer" et "Boulevard des capucines". Etienne Daho vieillit comme nous tous mais on peut dire que le poids des années n'a pas du tout émoussé son talent bien au contraire. Sobre, élégant et authentique comme la pochette de ce DvD, richesse des arrangements et cette voix discrète sans effet ni artifice. A noter aussi la présente de nombreuses guest stars dont Charlotte Gainsbourg et surtout Marianne Faithfull.

Nirvana

Depuis le temps qu'on l'attendait ce live in Reading 1992 de Nirvana, il aura donc fallu 17 longues années pour le voir enfin sortir en live officiel, double LP ou en DVD au choix ou plus sûrement les deux :) Courtney Love en femme d'affaire avisée a semble t'il déniché un énième filon pour soutirer de l'argent à cette poule aux oeufs d'or qu'est devenu, malgré lui, Kurt Cobain, idole de tout un peuple rock, leader d'un mouvement, le grunge, dont il aura incarné à la fois le zénith et sa fin crépusculaire dans les drogues et les suicides de toutes sortes. Au milieu de ce chaos seul Eddie Vedder et Pearl Jam ont aujourd'hui survécu... Kurt Cobain comète géniale au destin tragique, icône absolu du rock des 90. Sa disparition marqua aussi la fin de l'hégémonie us sur le rock et je pense que depuis Nirvana, pas un seul groupe américain n'a atteint ce niveau, c'est vers la perfide albion qu'il faut se tourner pour trouver ce qui fait encore l'essence du rock, la spontanéité et la sincérité. Ce live à Reading est resté dans toutes les mémoires, élu même par le NME concert rock ultime, on y voit et entend un Kobain dément, à l'image de son arrivée dans un fauteuil roulant... et puis ses titres que nous connaissons tous et toutes, véritable pater du rock indé, Nirvana et Kurt Cobain à jamais dans la légende ! On pourra toujours pester sur l'indécence de Love dans la gestion du patrimoine musical Kobain mais sur le plan artistique il est indéniable que nous sommes là face à "The fucking Live !" avec 24 titres qui s'enchaînent magnifiquement. Même si il existait déjà depuis longtemps en version pirate ce Live in Reading 1992 de Nirvana est juste indispensable. Le cadeau de noël idéal pour faire découvrir à nos chères petites têtes blondes nourris aux daubes MTV style Tokio Hotel, que dans le rock il n'y a pas besoin de se grimer ou de porter des tatouages pour l'Etre. Nirvana c'est l'incarnation de cet esprit du rock dont Kurt Cobain était l'incarnation, il a rejoint depuis Jim Morrisson et autres Hendrix et à ce qu'on me dit ils foutent un drôle de bordel live in Paradise :) Ma Note:*****/5.

Norah Jones - Tell Yer Mama

Norah Jones, mon Dieu que je la trouve belle♥, elle me fait fondre littéralement dès que je la vois. Je lui voue une passion qui reste somme toute très "Dudesque" :)) Notre chère Norah revient donc avec "The Fall" précédé d'un single entêtant, le très réussi "Chasing Pirates" et d'un clip qui nous la montre tellement belle et naturelle que l'on rêverait de tout quitter pour être prisonnier de tels pirates... Mais revenons à la musique, Jones à décider de changer d'équipe en obtenant les services de musiciens talentueux dont les batteurs Joey Waronker (Beck,R.E.M.) et James Gadson (Bill Withers), le claviériste James Poyser (Erykah Badu, Al Green) et les guitaristes Marc Ribot (Tom Waits, Elvis Costello) et Smokey Hormel (Johnny Cash, Joe Strummer). Le LP a été produit par Jacquire King (Tom Waits, Modest Mouse, Kings of Leon). Du beau monde donc pour une évolution vers un univers plus pop, moins de piano mais plus de guitares mais je vous rassure ce n'est point la révolution annoncée, on reste ici avec du Norah Jones comme on l'aime, une voix ensorcelante et douce, des mélodies pop très classieuses. C'est un album qui apaise, Norah nous susurre à l'oreille et cela fait du bien au ♥. Les futurs pépites que vous écouterez en boucle je l'espère sur les radios et autres médias sont nombreuses, on peut citer "Even Though", "Young Blood" à la rythmique très sympa, "I wouldn't need you" dont le son de la basse est un copier coller de la mélodie de "come away with me", pour le reste piano et guitare se mêlent astucieusement, si vous voulez vous faire une idée de ce qu'est la Norah Jones version 2009 écouter le titre "Tell yer Mama", un des meilleurs moments du disque à mon sens. Ce LP sans être la révolution annoncée est très agréable à écouter, s'il réjouira les fans de l'artiste il pourrait également lui ouvrir les portes d'un public encore plus pop. Une jolie réussite et je me réjouis d'hors et déjà parce que je sens que ce mois de décembre sera très Norah Jones. En attendant de la voir peut-être sur scène (je croise les doigts) je ne peux que vous inciter à vous procurer ce très bon disque. Pacquiao For The Seventh World Title

Manny Pacquiao from the Philippines is his way to break the record of boxing history as he aim for the seventh world title in seven weight classes. It's Pacquiao vs Cotto this Saturday!

As far as I know, only Pacquiao and De La Hoya are the only boxers who got six world titles in six weight classes. But De La Hoya will no longer be able to beat his own record because he have already resigned.

Pacquiao is still young and the road to greatness is still wide open for him.

Let's talk about Miguel Angel Cotto. Did you know that Cotto did not actually take up boxing to become his career? Yes... He just try boxing because he wanted to lose weight. He just follow the path of his two older brothers. To his surprise, boxing make him lose weight. And that's the time he developed a fashion for this sport. He was then trained at Bairoa Gym and follow the steps of his his older brother Jose Miguel Cotto.

If you'll compare him to Pacquiao, Pacquiao treated boxing as his hobby. Even though he doesn't have shoes or just one rubber shoe, he was so addicted in this sports. He was always been advised by his mother to study and not to be link in that sports. During those days, his mother believed that boxing will not make them rich but the young Manny cannot get rid of this because he really love it. Then the time came when he enter the real world of boxing, from an amateur to professional boxer, you can really see not only his passion in this sports but also the unbelievable power he has. Can he be able to be the first ever boxer to get the seventh title in seven different divisions?
