Memphis Blues BBQ Under Attack By Animal Rights Activists
Vancouver Canada March 27 2008, a local BBQ Institution Memphis Blues BBQ House is under attack by Commercial drive residents for allegedly have a restaurant that is just to successfull.
Unknown residents have complained to city of Vancouver saying the Restaurant has too many people driving to the location from other areas of the city.
Like Wow isn't that what a successful business supposed to do attract people for other areas to come and spend money in our community.
I mean maybe I drop 35 bucks at Memphis Blues dinner with my wife and then after that over I go down that block and buy some desert or we shop for something else.
Let's not forget that about 15 people have jobs that work at the restaurant. No way people in Vancouver trying to make honest living selling a totally legal product MEAT better run them out of business fast.
I will bet you a few bucks that people behind this complaint are either Animal Rights Activists or Vegans or self rightouts anti-car types (let not forget driving is a legal activity) that complainted about Memphis Blues but stay mum about politically correct Havana Resturant down the street which also does not have a parking lot. They often display the height of ignorance, and double standards... like you say - they will be happy to go out to dinner somewhere themselves, but if that place is within half a mile of their house, they create hell about it.
